*In the 2012-2013 academic year, North Carolina switched to the Common Core Standards.  The statewide composite for this year was 44.7%.  This was also the last year before the release of school performance grades, which were implemented in the 2013-2014 academic year.

**In 2018, North Carolina discontinued use of the A+NG school performance grade distinction so that the highest grade attainable became the A.

Historical Achievement Data

Since its inception in fall 2010, Henderson Collegiate has:

  • Achieved all AYP and AMO targets each year (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017)
  • Exceeded its Expected Growth each year (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017)
  • Earned School of High Growth (2011 & 2012; this distinction was discontinued in 2013)
  • Earned School of Distinction (2011 & 2012; this distinction was discontinued in 2013)
  • Earned Title I Reward School (2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016) This distinction was discontinued in 2017 with the transition to ESSA.
  • Achieved 100% of its EVAAS growth goals (2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017)
  • Earned a School Performance Grade of B (2014, the first year the Grades were issued)
  • Earned a School Performance Grade of A+NG (2015, 2016 & 2017)
